Tracing Lausanne's rivers and streams

From the Place de la Riponne to the Cité, and taking in the Place Palud and the cathedral.

The topography, hills, and some historical connections will be illustrated and explained during the course of this walk.

The existence of two underground rivers, the Louve and the Flon will be revealed and explain their influence on the steep roads and numerous stairways of Lausanne.
We will also point out the many fountains of the town.

Length about 1¼ hours mainly for class years 5 and 6 (ages 9 – 11).

Throughout the year, except Sundays and Public Holidays (according to availability of a guide).
